N\u00e5r fibrene tils\u00e6ttes betonblandingen, \u00f8ges tr\u00e6kstyrken af betonen; dannelse af revner forhindres og meget mere. Resultatet er en meget holdbar betonanvendelse. De kan opbevares i kasser eller poser og er nemme at transportere. Ligeledes er der i sammenligning med st\u00e5lfibre brug for en mindre m\u00e6ngde polypropylenfibre for at opn\u00e5 den kr\u00e6vede tr\u00e6kstyrke i beton.
