EPDs Strengthen Our Green Profile and Market Position

At Danish Fibres, we are committed to sustainability and reducing CO₂ emissions. Our polypropylene fibres for concrete reinforcement replace steel fibres, significantly lowering the environmental footprint in construction. To document this impact and meet the growing demand for verified environmental data, we worked with FORCE Technology to create Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for our fibres.

The results speak for themselves: Our market share in Denmark has increased from 2–3% to around 35%, and we expect to reach up to 70% as we expand EPD coverage to more product types. EPDs are not only key to our competitiveness – they also support our customers in documenting their own climate impact and enhancing their sustainability credentials.

With support from the SMV:Grøn programmet and a strong partnership with FORCE Technology, we’ve made great strides in our green transition.
